What we collect, and why

Customers

• What: your name, business name, email, phone number, address (if you provide it), your service details, photos and text you give us, and billing records (payment status and receipts). Card details are handled by Stripe and are not seen or stored by us.
• Why: to build and run your website, take payment, provide support, keep accounting records and meet legal obligations.

People we contact about a preview (prospects)

• What: business contact details that you or your business have made publicly available (for example business name, trade, location, website or business email address, phone number), and a record of where and when we found them.
• Why: to send a single relevant message offering a preview of a website for your business, and to record and honour any request to stop contacting you.
• Where we get it: from your own website, business pages or public directory listings, not from a purchased list. Each message tells you the source.
• If you ask us to stop: we keep your email address on a do-not-contact list so we do not contact you again. We delete the rest of your details from our lead records within [e.g. 30 days] of a stop request or of no reply.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the Service, and only as needed: [confirm at launch — e.g. Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (website hosting), our email provider, AI tools used to draft site text]. We do not sell personal information. Some of these providers store or process information outside New Zealand (for example in the United States). Keeping it safe and how long we keep it

We limit access to the information, use reputable providers and keep as little as we need. Customer records are kept while you are a customer and then for the period required for accounting and tax records [owner to confirm period].
